The infamous Haad Rin. This is the village where the full moon parties take place. It has become mini Khao San road with cheap accomodation, restaurants that serve mostly traveller fare and all the convenience stores, internet cafes and other places that backpackers may need. It is hard to find a good restaurant that does not have a booming TV playing DVDs. A good place to get organised (e.g. book diving trips). A bad place to stay.
